Probate

Probate is the legal process of administering the estate of a deceased person.  We are available to advise and assist with all areas of the probate process, including:
  • Preparing the legal documents to have the estate executor, or Personal Representative, appointed by the Court
  • Preparing the estate inventory of assets
  • Coordinating with the appraiser for necessary appraisals of any estate property
  • Preparing the final income tax return for the decedent
  • Preparing any income tax returns required to be filed for the estate
  • Preparing any federal estate tax returns for the estate
  • Preparing documents necessary to account for all funds handled by the estate
  • Preparing a proposal for distribution of the estate assets
  • Reviewing the estate plan and preparing new documents for the persons receiving property from the estate.
